With the declaration of a cease-fire, CPJ (Committee to Protect Journalists) urges Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to begin allowing international journalists to independently report on events in Gaza. Since the Israeli military campaign began last month, journalists have been denied access to Gaza. CPJ also calls on Olmert to promptly investigate the targeting of media facilities in Gaza.
